Kelechi Iheanacho, the
Nigerian U-20 team foward whose recent progress in Manchester City’s
pre-season tour attracted remarkable comments from football lovers in
Nigeria, and overseas was recently featured in Bleacher Report’s “50 Most
Exciting Teenagers in World Football.”
The 17-year-old City’s Striker made the no 9 spot on the list, along with the likes of Luke Shaw(Manchester United), Serge Gnabry(Arsenal), and Will Hughes (Derby County).
Describing his efficacy BleacherReports added, “Iheanacho doesn’t yet have a work permit to play in England and so could be sent out on a loan this year whoever gets him will be getting a special comment.”
Kelechi drew international attention after winning the Golden ball for the U-17 World Cup last year, he also proved himself worthy by finding the net against Ac Milan and Liverpool in the just concluded Pre-seasoned tour.
Coach Garba who was with Kelechi in the U-17 team, and now U-20 team believes that he is one of the most talented players in the world.
